James Carpio

James Carpio

James Carpio (AKA Dregg) is an avid old school gamer who has made his way into the world of small press publishing and freelance writing.  James is the proprietor of Chapter 13 Press (Publishers of Pulp Era, Spookybeans, Death Race Z (part of their “Tales from the Funk” line), and is currently working on a undisclosed projects as well as an adventure module for Lamentations of the Flame Princess.  James has collaborated on projects with Eden Studios, Exile Game Studio, Secret Fire Games, Goodman Games and R. Talsorian Games.  James is also a partner in the New TSR and is host on the TSR Media Network’s Cube of Death podcast.

On the convention side James holds the title of Manager of Analog Gaming with Connecticon (in Hartford CT) and has in the past worked with I-CON Science Fiction, Questcon, and Gazebo of Games.  You can check out James’ work at www.chapter13press.com or hear him rant at www.hexgeneration.com.


Jeffrey Talanian

Jeff-T..originalJeffrey Talanian, designer for North Wind Adventures, lives in New Hampshire with his wife and three children. He was first introduced to Dungeons & Dragons in 1981, and since then he’s been running epic campaigns of adventure, intrigue, and war. His weekly group, the Knights of Next Tuesday, has been gaming together since 1993. His game, Astonishing Swordsmen & Sorcerers of Hyperborea, is critically acclaimed and has been nominated for several awards.

Thom Wilson

Thom Wilson is the owner of Throwigames, publishers of Throwigames Simple Roleplaying System (TSRS).  TSRS is a tabletop RPG designed to be light on rules and heavy on roleplaying.  Most guidelines are optional so GMs can modify, add or drop whatever they wish.  GMs can also submit their changes to the site for others to use.  And the best part?  The entire system is free!  All guidelines, support tools, monster books and adventures can be found at the Downloads page of the website throwigames.com.
